Identification: Males have U shaped black mark on the second abdominal segment. Females are green and black or blue and black.
Information: Distribution: Common throughout all of the British Isles apart from the far north of Scotland. Mid-May to August.
Similar species: Variable Damselfly, Common Blue Damselfly.
