Identification: Brown back and orange-brown flanks. Long, black tipped ears. Long limbs give characteristic ungainly gait when moving slowly.
Information: Distribution: England and southern Scotland. A variety of habitats including open woodland.
Similar species: Rabbit, Mountain Hare.
