Keeled Skimmer Orthetrum coerulescens
 
Identification: Narrow abdomen. No black patches at the base of the wing. Males have a long, narrow, pale blue abdomen with no black tip. Females are black and yellow with two wide, black stripes along the upper side of the narrow abdomen.
Information: Distribution: scattered range mainly on or near western and southern coasts. Mid-June to mid-August.
Similar species: Black-tailed Skimmer, Scarce Chaser, Broad-bodied Chaser.
