Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus
 
Identification: Long, square tail with broad, rounded wings. Yellow eyes. Flight has characteristic flap-flap-glide-flap-flap-glide. Adults are grey above, males have reddish below.
Information: Distribution: breeds throughout British Isles.
Similar species: Goshawk is larger with longer wings and displays more white on the undertail. Tail is rounded.
