Wall Lizard Podarcis muralis
 
Identification: Longer legs and tail than Common Lizard. Longer hind toes. Most show a reticulate pattern on the head and body. Clings to vertical surfaces. Variable colours from green to brown.
Information: Distribution: a few scattered site in southern Britain, mostly on the south coast on warm south-facing cliffs.
Similar species: Common Lizard is common and widespread throughout the British Isles and Sand Lizard is restricted to southern heathland and a few sand dune systems.
